Herbal Teas over Green Tea -

For A Holistic Health and Sustained Weight Loss

The age-old saying that nature has the solution to all our problems will always remain true.

Following a lifestyle, in tandem with nature, has never been more important than in today's

times, when we all have just started to step out of our houses after the two years of derailment

caused by the pandemic. And as far as a healthy lifestyle is concerned, maintaining the right

body weight has always remained primary.

Now, let's look at maintaining the right weight from a naturalistic lens. If you are a

health-conscious person, with a bend for organic products, you will majorly have two options.

One being Herbal Weight Loss tea and the other being Green Tea. But as they say, no two

products are the same. Keep reading to find out the difference between these two products, so

that you can make an informed decision.

Let's start with Herbal Tea. Herbal tea is a blend of various herbs, roots, spices, fruits and flowers that belong to edible, non-tea plants. Some of the herbal teas that are beneficial for weight loss include Oolong tea, Ginger tea, Dandelion Root tea, Lemongrass tea and Rose petal tea. Besides weight loss, herbal tea has numerous other benefits like increased metabolism, healthier bones, management of stress, healthier looking skin, control of diabetes and cholesterol, improved brain functioning, increased energy and many more.

Now, let's talk about Green Tea. Green tea, prepared by lightly steaming the Camellia Sinesis

leaves and buds also gives numerous benefits. These include weight loss, metabolism boost,

improved brain function, protection against cancer, diabetes control etc.

Now, if weight loss is a benefit assured by Herbal as well as Green Tea, let's closely look at each of these to find the better option. Green Tea contains caffeine, unlike most herbal teas which are caffeine-free. Though caffeine has its benefits, a regular intake of caffeine can lead to decreased appetite, dehydration, insomnia and a constant urge to consume it. Hence, herbal teas are a better option for people who need to avoid caffeine for medical reasons.

Another difference between herbal tea and green tea is the difference in the benefits provided by them. Though green tea can uplift your overall general health, you need to go for herbal tea if

you need a specific focus on a certain issue. For example, one of the main functions of herbal

teas such as Oolong tea and Lemon grass tea is weight loss. Apart from this, the fact that herbal tea is safe for all age groups, unlike green tea which is not recommended for children and pregnant women, makes herbal tea a preferred choice.

Hence, herbal teas are a tad bit better, as compared to green tea, for your overall health and for holistic and sustained weight loss.
